And we can sit here and tell you that we met through the comedian community online 

Or we can give you the real story 

And the real story is that the world is chaotic, People are ruthless and our biology as humans is complicated 

MIKKI and I have trauma as women, as mothers, as people with fortunes and misfortunes. We have experienced hell through our Children’s eyes.

Because not only has the world tried over and over again to chew us up and spit us out 

But Our own bodies our own minds have tried to chew us up and spit us out

 today is different. Today we stand together and we don’t give a shit about what defines us. Today we start writing a different script 

To make people laugh 

To lift others up 

To make people think 

But most importantly we are here today to take ownership of our own lives in a different way - Despite all of the odds and all of the things our bodies can’t let go of - For better or worse - And we hope that if people see that two broken mothers can keep going, thEn anyone can keep going 

We’re not perfect - we have our vices and we cope with our traumas and neurodivergence in different ways And we’re not hiding that - in fact we’re actually owning that and highlighting it through Ride or High 

Some of us self medicate with weed 

Some of us self medicate by scrolling endlessly through tiktok all night 

Some of us self medicate by jumping out of airplanes and riding roller coasters

So every episode when you tune in we ask the question “Are you Ride or High” to everyone on the show so you the audience is aware of our commentary and dialogue through the perspective of our different vices and our different ways of dealing with life. And we might even take you on a literal ride through our vices and coping mechanisms (yes I’m talking about roller coasters) 

To ask the question does life make more sense ride or high?

Are any of these vices actually helping?

DoES any of this help us make more sense of the world?
